Certificate of Compliance
A product quality certificate is considered a guarantee of safety. Since all consumers strive to buy exclusively quality goods, the inscription “certified product” becomes a sign that confirms the reliability, quality and excellent consumer characteristics of the product.
In accordance with the current legislation of Ukraine, New Way Wood products have passed all necessary procedures approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine to obtain a certificate of compliance.
Certification is an objective factor when choosing products of the required quality level. It confirms their reliability, safety and impeccable consumer characteristics.
01. First Stage
SAWING OAK LOGS INTO BOARDS
The primary and, in fact, simplest product of the wood processing process is the log. It is in this form that raw materials arrive at our production facility, in the form of round timber, which is sawn into boards with subsequent trimming and cross-cutting
02. Second Stage
DIVIDING THE BOARD INTO THIN LAMELLA AND DRYING THE LAMELLA
Next, the oak board is divided into thin lamella 4 mm thick – wood sheets obtained by sawing. Properties of sawn lamella: environmentally clean material, high impact toughness and good resistance to splitting, strength, ease of processing, resistance to temperature fluctuations and high humidity.
Further drying of the lamella takes place in a drying chamber with maximum efficiency and high level of automation, capable of timely opening and closing exhaust dampers, thus ensuring uniform air supply and its direction to the processed wood.
03. Third Stage
CALIBRATION AND TRIMMING OF LAMELLA TO REQUIRED DIMENSIONS
Calibration and trimming of lamella is carried out on special equipment to ensure the necessary dimensions that are fixed in the final product.
04. Fourth Stage
SANDING AND GLUING THE FINISHED SOFTWOOD SANDWICH WITH OAK LAMELLA
The finished sandwich is the middle layer of a three-layer parquet board, it bears the main load, therefore softwood with high density is used for its manufacture. These are lamellae (slats) glued together, which provide flexibility and strength to the parquet board. Glued constructions, unlike solid ones, do not deform or crack during operation
An important point when gluing layers of softwood sandwich and oak lamella is the use of water-based glue, which makes the finished New Way Wood product completely ecological and safe.
05. Fifth Stage
BRUSHING, CALIBRATION AND CUTTING TWO TYPES OF LOCKS: "LOC" AND "TONGUE-AND-GROOVE"
After gluing, the brushing stage is carried out, which involves modern technology that emphasizes the naturalness of wood layers and improves its texture. The texture of brushed flooring is directly felt to the touch.
The next stage of the production process is cutting two types of locking connections for parquet boards, which not only facilitate the installation process, but also protect the floor covering from external influences. The advantages of quality locking systems “tongue-and-groove” and “loc” are:
- quick and easy installation;
- guarantee of seamless connection without height differences;
- longer service life of the covering.
06. Sixth Stage
APPLICATION OF OIL-WAX AND PACKAGING OF FINISHED PARQUET BOARD
Parquet oil compared to varnish when applied is absorbed into the wood thickness to a great depth, and only a small amount remains on the surface. At the same time, a protective film as such is not formed, but the wood itself becomes stronger and more wear-resistant. Wax allows to enhance this effect, it almost completely remains on the wood surface creating a protective film. Modern parquet oils are produced from natural oils (sunflower, linseed, soy, tall oil, jojoba, etc.), and the waxes used in combination with oil are mainly of natural origin (candelilla, carnauba, beeswax, candelilla, etc.) In the production of parquet oil-wax, all components undergo thorough purification, therefore most manufacturers guarantee the environmental friendliness and safety of their products.
A distinctive feature of this product is that wooden floors covered with parquet oil or oil-wax can be restored completely or locally without resorting to complete re-sanding.
The finished product is packed in cardboard and sealed in polymer film, which maintains the necessary moisture level during transportation.
